Issuance of Mayor’s Clearance for Electrical Connection

MAYOR’S CLEARANCE FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION is issued by the Local Chief Executive before BUSECO or any power service provider will energize any building/structure in compliance to the provision of   the National Building Code.  In exigency of public service, considering that the LCE has so many works to attend to, he is deputizing the Municipal Administrator and the Municipal Engineer to sign for and in his behalf the MAYOR’S CLEARANCE for electrical connection as long as the basic requirements are complied.

*Policy– No Building Permit/Certificate of Occupancy/Electrical connection is issued to applicant who has no right over the land and to the structures which are located within the road right of way or within 30 meters from the centerline of the road if it is along the national highway.  If the structure is located along the road right of way and the lot is titled, the applicant is allowed, however he should build his structure after the first fifteen meters and he will execute a waiver that in the event that the area will be affected by road widening, he will demolish the building at his own cost. (Provided that the said lot is titled)

Issuance of Occupancy and Electrical Permit

This permit is issued upon actual occupancy of constituents within the locality of Manolo Fortich, and upon request of applicants for business permit requirement.

  • Clientele: Residents, non-residents and corporations
  • Requirements:
    • Sketch of the house (contains at least two elevations, floor plan, electrical plan, vicinity/location plan)  3 copies
    • Electrical Permit Form to be accomplished in 3 copies signed by a professional Electrical Engineer and the applicant. – 3 copies
    • Application for Occupancy Permit to be accomplished in 3 copies signed by the applicant.
    • Tax Declaration or Land Title ( 3 copies)
    • Authorization or Deed or Sale if the applicant is not registered owner of the lot (3 copies)
    • Current Tax Receipt or Tax Clearance (3 copies)
    • Certification from the Barangay Chairman as to road allowance.
